The recording controls should work without a mouse. Instructions and measurements should remain readable without watching a waveform.
Interaction
Use Tab to move through controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons. Focus indicators remain visible. The recording stage is described in text and announced when it changes; the moving meter does not announce every sample. Recordings use the browser’s native audio controls.
Motion and display
The layout reflows on narrow screens. Text can be enlarged, and the site respects reduced-motion preferences. A waveform is supporting feedback, not the only indicator that recording is active. There is no autoplay or continuous microphone monitoring.
Audio limitations
The purpose of the tool includes comparing how recordings sound. Digital measurements provide another view, but they cannot fully replace listening or certify speech intelligibility. We do not automatically transcribe recordings or send them to a speech service. The text prompt is available before and during capture.
