Use MikeNet to inspect your own audio setup. Treat its measurements as limited observations.
The service
MikeNet is a free browser tool published by BarnLabs LLC. It captures audio only after you start the recording and permit browser access. Features and availability may change. We do not promise uninterrupted service or compatibility with every device.
Your recordings
Record only audio you are entitled to capture. You are responsible for any required permission from other people in the room and for what you choose to download or share. MikeNet does not upload, review or distribute recordings.
Limitations
Results describe the browser’s digital capture path. They are not a calibration certificate, acoustic exposure assessment, diagnosis, repair guarantee or product endorsement. Use the device manufacturer’s instructions for hardware and electrical work.
Saved files
Recordings are temporary until you download them. Leaving or reloading the page can discard a session. Keep your own downloaded copy if needed. BarnLabs cannot recover a recording that never reached its servers.
